How it works
One page for both sides. You never deal with the other side directly — a TruckBiz coordinator calls both of you at every step. The money always goes through Escrow.com, and the buyer sees the company name, MC and USDOT only after the 10% deposit is in escrow.
Buying a company
Usually 3–4 weeks from your first call to payout.
1Pick a company on the boardFederal record, insurance history, inspections and the seller's platform screenshots — all on the card, flaws included, checked by TruckBiz before you ever pay. Name, MC and USDOT stay hidden.
2Tap «I want this company» — name, phone, emailA TruckBiz coordinator calls you and the seller. Price and what's included are agreed on the call — you never talk to the seller directly.
3Sign the contract, place a 10% deposit in Escrow.comWithin 2 business days of our invite. Escrow.com checks your ID at the deposit — not us, not the seller. Once the deposit is in, the company name, MC and USDOT are revealed and you pay the 90% balance into escrow within 5 business days.
4All filings submitted within 5 calendar days, then 48 hours to checkState filing, FMCSA (MCS-150, BOC-3, insurance), accounts — by checklist. Your 48 hours start when we send «all filed» by SMS, email and a call. Something missing? Open a dispute in Escrow.com. No dispute — Escrow.com pays the seller automatically.

Money through Escrow.comA licensed escrow agent holds the funds. Not us. The 10% deposit and then the 90% balance sit there until 48 hours after every transfer filing is submitted — nobody walks away with the money.
Names stay hiddenCompany name, MC and USDOT open only after the buyer's 10% deposit is in escrow. Until then both sides see only a lot number and a coordinator.
Every lot shows its statusTwo statuses: Seller-reported, or Verified once TruckBiz has matched the Articles and EIN letter (good for 90 days). Separately, every deal gets a fresh check of liens, debts, factoring and every owner before any buyer's deposit — Verified or not.
What it costs
BuyerYou pay the agreed price into escrow — 10% deposit, then 90% — plus a $2,500 transfer package through Escrow.com, paid out to TruckBiz at closing, and Escrow.com's fee. Nothing else.
SellerFree to list. You pay 12% at payout, held back by Escrow.com: on $15,000 that is $1,800 — you receive $13,200. If the company keeps a debt, the 12% is counted on the price plus that debt. Nothing else.
TruckBizWe are the marketplace and the coordinator in the middle — not a buyer and not a seller. We never own the companies here and never take a side in your deal.
